The Rangers purchased the contract of pitcher Doug Mathis from Triple-A Oklahoma to replace Millwood on the roster.
Additionally, Texas has outrighted pitcher Kazuo Fukumori, currently at Triple-A Oklahoma, off the 40-man roister.
